Gerard Best is a member of Elijah Centre Nexus, and is the GCT Director with responsibility for Congress InSight. He is a professional Communications Consultant with an interest in technology-related social development issues affecting communities in the Caribbean and across the world. He is also an independent journalist with an interest in using Open Data and Data Journalism to discover untold stories about ordinary people and their communities. And a confessed word nerd who has spent too much time reading fiction and writing poetry. Gerard lives in Trinidad with his wife Allana and their two children.
